Trump insists intend to kill ObamaCare is on track

President Trump early Friday touted his effort to kill ObamaCare, promising that repealing and replacing the sweeping healthcare law “is moving fast!”

“Regardless of the long delays through the Democrats in finally approving Dr. Tom Price, the repeal and replacement of ObamaCare is moving fast!” he explained in a tweet.

Price was confirmed this week as health insurance and human services secretary and is likely to be the administration’s point man on ObamaCare replacement.

At a wide-ranging press conference Thursday, Trump signaled that he’d unveil his exact plan for ObamaCare soon.

“We’re doing ObamaCare, we’re within the final stages,” he told reporters at the White House. “So we is going to be submitting between early March, mid-March.”

White House chief of staff -Reince Priebus said presidential aides spent 2 hours with Price Thursday night discussing the problem.

Price will “quarterback our plans with the House and also the Senate, and we're finalizing that hopefully during the first week of March,” Priebus said on “Fox & Friends” Friday.

House Speaker Paul Ryan said he’d make his ObamaCare plans public in weeks.

“Following the House returns following a Presidents Day break, we plan to introduce legislation to repeal and replace ObamaCare,” he explained at their own press conference Thursday.
