President elect Mr . trump promised “insurance for everybody” throughout an interview published on Sunday in the midst of a contentious battle in Congress within the repeal of Obamacare.
Trump claimed to become putting the finishing touches on his replacement to the Affordable Care Act but told The Washington Post the details will come in due time.
“It's very much formulated down to the ultimate strokes,” Trump told the paper. “We haven't place it in quite yet but we will be doing it soon,”
Pointing to some campaign pledge not to have people “dying in the pub,” Trump stressed those who require medical health insurance is going to be “beautifully covered.”
“What I actually do want will be able to take proper care of people,” he told the paper.
The president elect said he would unveil the program alongside House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and warned them to not get “cold feet.”
“We're going to have insurance for everyone,” Trump said.
“There would be a philosophy in certain circles when you can't pay for it, you do not get it. That isn't going to take place with us.”
Congress has already begun a complex process to repeal the healthcare act passed by Obama in 2010.
A replacement bill has not yet been introduced.
The ACA program extended coverage of health to around 20 million people but has been nagged by problems, together with a steep rise in premiums for many.
